Michael LoVecchio is a public relations professional with 10 years combined experience advising and delivering solutions to industry and government. Michael is spokesman and media contact for Canadian Artificial Reef Consulting.

A resident of Victoria, British Columbia, Michael was born in Montreal and raised in Calgary. He studied economics and politics at Trent University in Ontario.

Michael’s strengths include media relations, public relations, events management, people management, public opinion analysis, strategic thinking, branding, positioning and presentation in a results-oriented environment. He has produced conventions, documentaries, scripts, and marketing tools for industry and government.

Michael has been Vice-President and Director of Government Relations at the Artificial Reef Society of British Columbia and remains a Director of the Underwater Council of British Columbia. He is a PADI scuba diving instructor. He has maritime rescue training and is a certified oxygen provider instructor. He is an accomplished sailor and downhill skier.
